Drug Facts

Uses:
For the temporary relief of minor aches and pains associated with:
• headache • muscular aches • toothache • arthritis • menstrual cramps • common cold
Warnings:
Reye’s Syndrome: Children and teenagers should not use this medicine for chicken pox, or flu symptoms, before a doctor is consulted about Reye’s Syndrome, a rare but serious illness reported to be associated with aspirin.
Allergy Alert: Aspirin may cause a severe allergic reaction which may include:
• hives • skin reddening • asthma (wheezing) • facial swelling • rash • shock • blisters
If an allergic reaction occurs, stop use and seek medical help right away.
Alcohol Warning: If you consume 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day, ask your doctor whether you should take acetaminophen or other pain relievers/fever reducers. Acetaminophen may cause liver damage.
Caffeine Warning: The recommended dose of this product contains about as much caffeine as a cup of coffee. Limit the use of caffeine-containing medications, foods, or beverages while taking this product because too much caffeine may cause nervousness, irritability, sleeplessness, and, occasionally, rapid heart beat.
Stomach Bleeding Warning: This product contains a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), which may cause stomach bleeding.
The chance is higher if you:
• are age 60 or older • have had stomach ulcers or bleeding problems
• take a blood thinning (anticoagulant) or steroid drug
• take other drugs containing an NSAID (aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, or others)
• have 3 or more alcohol drinks every day while using this product
• take more or for a longer time than directed
Do not use:
• If you ever have had an allergic reaction to any other pain relievers/ fever reducers including aspirin
• If you have stomach problems (such as heartburn, upset stomach, or stomach pain) that persist or recur, ulcer or bleeding problems
• If you have asthma
Ask a doctor before use if you have:
• the worst headache of your life • fever and stiff neck • daily headaches
• headaches beginning after or caused by head injury, exertion, coughing or bending
• experienced your first headache after the age of 50
Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are:
• taking a prescription drug for anticoagulation (thinning of the blood), diabetes, gout or arthritis
• taking any other drug containing an NSAID (prescription or non-prescription)
When using this product:
• take with food or milk if stomach upset occurs
• long term continuous use may increase the risk of heart attack or stroke
Stop Use and Ask a Doctor If:
• any new or unexpected symptoms occur
• an allergic reaction occurs. Seek medical help right away
• redness or swelling is present
• pain or fever gets worse
• pain lasts for more than 10 days
• fever lasts for more than 3 days
• ringing in the ears or loss of hearing occurs
If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health care professional before use. IT IS ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT NOT TO USE ASPIRIN DURING THE LAST 3 MONTHS OF PREGNANCY UNLESS SPECIFICALLY DIRECTED TO DO SO BY A DOCTOR BECAUSE IT MAY CAUSE PROBLEMS IN THE UNBORN CHILD OR COMPLICATIONS DURING THE DELIVERY.

Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately. Prompt medical attention is critical for adults as well as for children even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms.
Directions:
• Do not use more than directed
Adults and children: (12 years and older) Take 2 tablets with water every 6 hours as needed. Do not take more than 8 tablets in 24 hours, or as directed by a doctor.
Children under 12 years: Do not give to children under 12 years of age.
Other Information:
• Store at room temperature 59º-86ºF (15º-30ºC)
• Avoid excessive heat and humidity

• Do not use any opened or torn packets

Croscarmellose sodium, crospovidone, dicalcium phosphate, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, maltodextrin, microcrystalline cellulose, mineral oil, pharmaceutical glaze, polyethylene glycol, povidone*, pregelatinized corn starch, propylene glycol*, silicon dioxide, sodium starch glycolate, starch, stearic acid*, talc, titanium dioxide.
